We need your help
To continue this success, we need you. Parents get together once a term and everyone is welcome to come along whenever they can. Meetings are very informal and friendly, often held at the pub or someone’s home.
Can't make meetings?
Don't worry - you can still contribute. If you would like to help in any way, however large or small, or if there are ideas or issues you would like to raise, please speak to one of your committee or any parent you know who will be at a meeting, or email empinghampfa@gmail.com
You can also help by checking to see if the organisation you work for offers match funding. Below is a list of companies who generously support match funding efforts made by the PFA. All you need is a letter to show how much the PFA has raised, which we can provide, and your company should do the rest. Every penny counts.
Another easy way to support is by shopping via easyfundraising.com.
You simply shop online and raise donations for the School. FOR FREE! It is really simple. Just register to support Empingham Primary School.
In 4 easy steps you can be ready. It doesn’t cost you a thing, just a few minutes of your time to set it up. We have prepared a handy little guide for you.
Many ways we raise money
Our income is made up of both donations from match funding and grants and the fund raising we do. Including some regular activity such as:
School Uniform
Please bring any out-grown uniform for the second-hand rail to the school office. Clothes are displayed every Friday morning outside the office and at any other time by speaking to Mrs Raine. All items cost just £1.
Book Swap
In a similar way to the School Uniform, we have a book shelf in the school entrance where you can swap or donate a minimum of 20p to take children’s books to continue their reading at home.
Cake Raffle
All the children love the weekly cake raffle on a Friday. Shop-bought or home-baked cakes are equally appreciated, so if you would like to donate a cake, please sign up with Mrs Raine in the school office. Typically you are called on for cake donations about once a year. For a chance to win, children simply pay 10p per square. Good luck!
Please look out for Parentmails informing you of the next PFA meeting and feel free to come along.
