We deliver a curriculum that is broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated, to take account of individual strengths and weaknesses whilst providing for progression and continuity. We achieve this through a creative learning approach. Teaching styles are varied and flexible to provide individuals, groups and classes with a stimulating and secure environment.
Our curriculum, which has recently been updated, in line with Curriculum 2014, is under constant review to enable us to meet the needs of our pupils whilst maintaining high expectations and setting challenging targets.
The Long Term Planning has been divided up into 3 stages: Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2), Lower Key Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4) and Upper Key Stage 2 (Years 5 and 6). Each stage will have two cycles, so that the skills and knowledge contained within the curriculum can be covered over a two year cycle.
For further information regarding the curriculum please contact the school office (01780 460246) who will be happy to arrange an appointment with a relevant staff member.
